Why Barbara Hales?

Barbara can help you to explore current life issues or concerns, as well as past relationships and repeating patterns and how they continue to affect you.

She will take your concerns seriously and will listen to you with acceptance, respect and supportive challenge, in confidence. You will not be judged, nor will you be given advice, However, you may be helped to gain a new perspective on your situation. As an individual member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Barbara is guided by BACP’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice and subject to its professional conduct procedure.

Experience and qualifications

Barbara Hales was originally trained as a teacher and has been working as a counsellor and psychotherapist since 1984. In 1993 she completed further training including the use of Sand Tray methods.

She is influenced by the ideas of C.G.Jung.
